Crate&Barrel and CB2

Today I received Crate&Barrel’s Fall furniture catalog.  It is always nice to flip through the pages and see what the new trends are.  As an enthusiast and a fan of the store, I want to like their collection but in the last couple of seasons every image of their product is dark and overly serious.

In contrast their sister company CB2, has taken a different approach and offers a collection of home furnishing that is both fun and sophisticated.

This may be an intentional approach by the parent company Otto GmbH, so they can offer products that appeal to a wide range of tastes.

If you are the creative type take a look at both company’s websites, I think you will enjoy the visit.
