Rose of Sharon, also called “althaea” or “althea,” as Hibiscus syriacus. Native to China and India, was brought to Europe in 16th century.

one of our favorite Shrubs, perfect for creating tall wide private wall, with its natural tendency to grow wide and thick with its beautiful trumpet shape flowers.

Resilient Rose of Sharon  is drought tolerant and prefers full sun and well-drained soil.

Bees, butterflies and hummingbirds love this shrub.
