LV’s 21st Century designs are meant to recreate the collectible design items that are beautiful and functional in their design. Everyday items that have taken a turn to a whimsical, fanciful shape as a limited edition collection of small and large travel and accent pieces. The Objets Nomades collection is the creation of 13 talented designers and architects from around the world.
Oki Sato of Nendo, Andre Fu, India Mahdavi, Tokujin Yoshioka, Fernando & Humberto Campana, Patricia Urquiola, Marcel Wanders, Raw Edges design group, Barber & Osgerby, Damien Langlois-Meurinne , Gwenaël Nicolas, Maarten Baas and Atelier Oï an international architecture, and set design group.

From four independent modules bound by soft leather straps, the ‘Chaise Longue’ transforms into a cradle of comfort.

A hanging travel cabinet made from leather offcuts from Louis Vuitton’s workshops. Each one different and named after fruits of Brazil.

Made from nylon rope, accented by leather cushions.

A foldable chair named, Concertina. Opens like a Japanese fan, and a zip in the back and a clasp in the front keeps the blades locked.

Using the same concertina folding mechanism to a lightshade, a lighter frame and translucent paper was made to create an illumined hanging flower like shape.
