Cotton is a fiber that grows from a plant, and flannel is a way the fibers are woven together; that’s the only difference between the two. Flannel is made from either wool, cotton, or synthetic fiber. Vegetable flannel is made from Scots pine fibre.

Flannel sheets, are warm, soft, and absolutely wonderful to cuddle in when it is cold and blustery outside.

Creating the Beach Bungalow

We love being around the beach, and we know getting there might take some planning, but turning our living space into a beach bungalow is easily done.

They are Lightweight, and they keep you warm. And investing in a couple of duvets in different colors and patterns not only keeps your down comforter clean, it also helps to give your bedding a different look for the winter months.  If you are thinking of investing in a down comforter look for these 2 facts:

1-Fill power

The quality of down can be determined by the fill power or loft. Purchase one above a fill power of 600 or more to keep warm and cozy all winter long.

2- Box stitch

Look at the stitching construction. A box stitch construction, one that forms a grid pattern across the surface. This will prevent your comforter from clumping and shifting over time.
