I pay attention to details, and respect any one that takes the time to create details in anything and everything. Small accent pieces in decorating, small plants tucked in large flower pots for color and texture, small images of birds, and trees in a painting, and small accessories added to the everyday wardrobe.

I contribute the importance of details, to the fact that they create a distinct look, a look apart from all the other homogenized, and pre packaged things! Details create a unique style, a unique look, created by subtle difference that we can call our own style.

To think of adding details such as accessories to everyday wardrobe is not a difficult task, but adding a belt, a scarf, a pair of gloves might require, a very organized closet, more time to plan, and more time to get dressed. The final look when all put together, ready for the day, is a unique style created by unique style by adding accessories for more color, layers, and texture.

Scarves, Shawls, Wraps🥶🧣

To stay warm we reach for a warm scarf, a wrap, a shawl around our shoulders. Winter is more bearable with wool, cashmere, silk, since they work as an insulator keeping our body’s warmth, trapping and helping us feel naturally comfortable and cozy.

The best way to enjoy natural fibers is to wear a layer of silk or cotton as a first layer close to skin and create a barrier with wool, and cashmere sweaters. Most of us feel our skin irritated by having wool close to skin as we move around, but by adding a layer of a small scarf with a wool turtle neck or a long sleeve cotton shirt with a wool sweater we add a soft barrier, and some relief from the itchy skin. Layering is important during the cold season, it simply helps us to take layers off indoors, and helping our skin to breath, feeling refreshed.

I believe traveling with a shawl or a big scarf is a necessary traveling accessory. Keeping them close by, I can use them as a blanket or another layer to cover a questionable surface close to my skin. And if you are a parent, an absolute life saver, to help little ones to cuddle up with a soft layer and catch a quick nap.

How to Dress Up Fast and Easy😎

If you find yourself pulled in many directions and only few minutes to pull yourself together, I absolutely relate. I have many interests and being a mom, a wife, daughter and a sister I like to be involved in my families affairs, be helpful, and lend a hand when I am asked to help.

As you can tell from this blog I am also a gardener, love to bake and cook, and always look for ways to make my home beautiful and comfortable. Stepping out of my house with mud on my knees or flour or pasta sauce on my shirt is absolutely real for me. It takes time to change to a clean shirt and jeans, but I often find myself with surprised texts and phone calls that pull me out of my house with few minutes left to put myself together.

Learning from experience, knowing last minute meetings and errands to run can happen without any notice I have come up with a collection of clothes and accessories that help me in minutes to look presentable without missing a beat. I use the coat closet next to the garage door to store : cardigans, jackets, a pair of boats scarves, and several pieces of jewelry. In few minutes I create a stylish look that not only covers my casual t-shirt and jeans but it also helps me leave the house with less stress and more confidence on how I arrive to my next meeting. Following my goal in life 🤣 to keep everything simple and stress free.👍😌

A Great Piece of Accessory😎

When it comes to decorating and purchasing furniture for my house, I feel smarter and happier buying a piece that can have more than one purpose. I often like moving my furniture from room to room, and change around the look and feel of my surroundings, and having the freedom to have a fresh look when I need it.

Same goes with buying clothes. When purchasing a blouse or a casual piece, I think of matching that piece with what already have in my closet. Investing in pieces that I know I can wear to more than one occasion. This thought process saves me money, space in my closet, and when traveling, lighter luggage.

Scarves are a smart purchase, and can easily add color, style, and interest to any outfit. By adding a scarf to what I am wearing, I can easily switch from work attire to cocktail, and dinner out with friends. A colorful large scarf can cover a blouse and change the look of what I am wearing in minutes, and help me feel refreshed and stylish.

2020 Spring Eye Makeup Trends

At first sight you murmur to yourself, what are they thinking? But as we watch the runway fashions with colors, textures, and fabrics that are fresh and creative we realize we are looking at fashion for Spring 2020.

Eyes with glitter and neon colors is fresh and so perfect for the times. White eye liner, or liners used to create the floating clouds are fresh and creative.

This Spring we will be brave and willing to try new colors and other creative ways to make our eyes look beautiful.

For 2020 Spring, designers had their models walk down the runways with neon eye shadows, and sparkly rhinestones around their eyes.

Anna Sui, Brandon Maxwell, Fendi, Helmut Lang, and Pamella Roland all introduced their spring fashion with fresh new line of eye makeup.

Spring is all about mixing intense shades, bright neons, glossy textures, and lots of sparkle.

At Anna Sui’s runway, models had one or two stars on their face with floating liner in shape of clouds around their eyelids.

Reviving your old shoes

I love my worn shoes. They fit just fine and look like my feet. Buying shoes is never easy for me, since I have wide feet, and I am just too picky when it comes to shoes. I love shoes, but dislike shoe shopping.

So I take very good care of my shoes, by repairing the soles and polishing my own shoes.

I know polishing shoes probably sounds strange to some of you, but I find it extremely relaxing and rewarding.

One day shopping for shoe polish a gentleman looking at the same shoe polish asked me which brand my husband preferred ? When I told him I was the shoe polisher at our home he laughed at me, and walked away telling me he married the wrong woman.

Any ways from the smell of the shoe polish to running the brush over the leather I find the entire experience fun. But don’t take my word for it. You might have to give it a try to understand the joy of making your worn out shoes looking new again.

Who knows? You might even give up shoe shopping to shoe preserving. 👍

Are you looking to buy a sweater?

You are in luck because every style is in for fall & winter. Oversized or cropped sweaters, slim cut cashmeres, and chunky popcorn knits are also very in for this winter.

I personally love big cable sweaters (sort of a fisherman’s look) and when I need to dress up a bit, a very thin cashmere keeps me warm, and I also add layers for a more stylish look.

Long sweaters are always stylish since you can wear them with leggings, wide-legged pants, or skirts.

Cropped sweaters are a cool look and it is still in for this winter and a much better look to me unless your belly button is peeking out.

Colors are also a very important aspect of clothing, so remember rust colors are in this year.
