Fruits & nuts for snacks
To add Protein to a healthy diet :
beans, almonds, walnuts, Brazil nuts, multi grain cereal. Eggs, milk, goat cheese, and Greek yogurt.
Fresh vegetables & fruits. Wash, cook and eat. Every Sunday, a few blocks from the beach, the local farmers bring their beautiful vegetables, delicious jams, and ripe fruits to the square; and the tourists line up to buy them.
Our family loves pasta. But to keep in mind a balance healthy diet once or twice a week we combine it with other meat or fish dishes.
Orzo with red bell pepper & cauliflower with eggs. Serve it warm or cold. We made a simple balsamic olive oil and black olive dressing to go with our orzo, and Parmesan cheese. You can use mozzarella or other favorite cheeses.
