Natural Easter Egg Dyes

Easter Eggs in blue, yellow, green, red, purple

it is very simple to use natural dyes to color Easter eggs. This year I included turmeric and red cabbage to dye Easter eggs for the Easter egg hunt, for the Easter basket, and just to have it on the lunch table as a little gift that everyone can take home.

The process was very easy. First boiling eggs, then boiling cabbage, mixing turmeric to warm water, boiling red onion skin, and beet juice using canned beets. One thing that I learned from this whole process is to keep the eggs in the dyes for different periods to get different shades. Different greens, different blues, different reds. Mix different color eggs putting them in different dyes to get greens and deep Purple eggs. This was an easy family project that we all enjoyed, and our Easter eggs are unique, natural, and beautiful. Please watch the entire video on how to use nature dyes to color eggs👇

Holiday Decorations
Bright and Colorful for the Holiday Season

When we picked up our Christmas tree, I also picked up an arm full of clippings. I wanted to use them in decorating my mail box, the living room and the dining room. Also Adding trimmings ( Faux red berries, and pinecones) that I had saved from last year’s Christmas wreaths. I thought they would add texture, color, and dimension to the all green clippings.

I put on my garden gloves, since I was getting sap all over my hands, and started layering the branches. Included smaller branches to cover some empty spots, and added pinecones and the berries in between the greens. Later I add another layer of Christmas ball ornaments and a string of lights.

Just to see different looks, later I added poinsettia plants, my small decorative Christmas trees, and just making it colorful, bright, and sparkly I also added mercury candle holders in silver, gold, and green.

All together 5 looks for a very warm, colorful, holiday season decor. you can watch my video on how I put together everything on the fireplace mantle and my dining buffet table. Easy Decorating For Fall

Cozy and warm for the cold rainy days ahead
Accent chair with cashmere and faux fur pillow

it’s always fun to change the look and feel of our house as the seasons change, especially when the cold season is right around the corner. I always plan on making some subtle changes. today I used some of my colorful, cozy and warm Accent pillows to change the look of the living room, the sitting room, and the kitchen. As the weather gets colder we spend more time indoors, and it is nice to have soft blankets, fury pillows, for those moments when we are ready to sit, and relax.
