Pottery barn summer home accents
I have always enjoyed all the seasonal accent pieces at pottery barn. The many sizes of outdoor & indoor pottery with beautiful baskets & candle jars in Jewel colors make decorating fun & easy. This is a few of my favorite pieces they had on display at their store☀️
This is a fun project that my family actually loves to work on without complaining. It is part of setting our table for our family before sitting down to give thanks for all the wonderful goodness around us.
This year we are setting a smaller table, but the work is still there, and we need place cards to be clear who is sitting where. Yes for the three of us !! Our fun project started with gathering our supplies. We get creative and try to be colorful, interesting, and unique.

Herbs have a wonderful fragrant, and add so much flavor to any food. I have used herb plants as center pieces for many years, and this year offered them as gifts to our thanksgiving guests.
Rosemary and thyme plants are two of my favorites, and have a beautiful flowing shape. To cover the pots first wrap them with colorful gift wraps, and add ribbons and ornaments for more color and shine.
Herbs are also great hostess gifts.
We are helping to organize a new kitchen.
For now we are only investing in kitchen tools for cooking & serving.

It might not have a practical use, but the piece stands out because it complements a room’s decor, and gets your attention by creating excitement and not blending into the background.
What is considered an accent piece:
