I love long walks with or without my music playing in my ears. Walking with my family is a different walk, since I tend to walk slower and usually get engage in some kind of conversation.
This year I have paid More attention to my surroundings. I am guessing with dozens of new constructions I am more aware that the green land around where we live and walk is starting to shrink. My green and hilly views are turning into constructions sites, that are growing in number every month. How many mixed used structures do we need? This tends to be the trend in our city!!
My pictures of fall trees are beginning to mean more than capturing the foliage this year. I find myself thinking this year might me the last year I am at aww of their beauty and sense of forever strength.
I hope I am wrong, but for now I am taking as many pictures as I can. To remember how beautiful natures is, and how much we all need to be surrounded by its beauty.
You are in luck because every style is in for fall & winter. Oversized or cropped sweaters, slim cut cashmeres, and chunky popcorn knits are also very in for this winter.
I personally love big cable sweaters (sort of a fisherman’s look) and when I need to dress up a bit, a very thin cashmere keeps me warm, and I also add layers for a more stylish look.
Long sweaters are always stylish since you can wear them with leggings, wide-legged pants, or skirts.
Cropped sweaters are a cool look and it is still in for this winter and a much better look to me unless your belly button is peeking out.
Colors are also a very important aspect of clothing, so remember rust colors are in this year.

what can be more energizing & rejuvenating than a good night sleep?
You open your eyes & realize you slept the entire night tucked in your bed wrapped in the warm soft comforter.
One sure way to set our bedroom for a solid sleep is to pay attention to how we have placed the furniture in the bedroom.
The art of feng shui creating positive flow.
Any room with unbalanced energy not only can affect our health, but our relationships, and finances too.
Here are some feng shui rules to follow for the bedroom;
Solid wood headboard
1- your head should be near a solid wall. Using a wood headboard or solid upholstered headboard.
Neutral accent pieces
Neutral bedding
2- Avoid these colors: reds, purples, blues, and black.
3- No mirrors, which would be difficult to do,  but mirrors make the energies of the bedroom very active, or yang. keep it to one only, and don’t hang it on the wall near the foot of your bed.
4- Try not to have a TV or any electronic devices in the bedroom.

Speaking as a parent we found ourselves telling our children start this year with power and strength.
Open mind for the new teachers new materials, new classmates. Then it downed on us, that we feel the same way as a mom and a dad, a new school year should be the start of a new attitude right along with our children.
We had an amazing, fun summer. We had the chance to hear more stories about friends at school. Who is still fun to be around and who has left the circle of friendship. At least for now!!
Do your best everyday, work on what you are best, were the words we used as we ate together and spend the last summer days Together.Â
We know schedules take over our lives. Sports, music classes, field trips, and projects, but our promise to be there, but not to overwhelm, quietly listen and not to teach or judge is our promise. Have a good heart and an open mind is our resolution for the new school year.
This morning, “we love you very much” were the words we chose to leave them with for their first day of school.❤️
Do you care a little too much about coffee? Do the terms "specialty coffee" and "single origin" mean more to you than how much coffee costs? Do you brew your coffee by grams per liter rather than by scoops per cup? If so, then you're a weird coffee person.
