here are our favorites:
Apple cider:
1- 64 fl .oz btl of apple cider
3 cinnamon sticks
1 teaspoon whole allspice
1 teaspoon whole cloves
1/3 cup brown sugar
In s saucepan combine apple cider and cinnamon sticks. Wrap allspice and cloves in a small piece of cheesecloth, and drop it in, add brown sugar. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat, and keep warm before serving.
Hot Chocolate:
3 cups of whole milk
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
Kosher salt
6 ounces milk chocolate, chopped
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Cook everything in a saucepan over medium heat. Use peppermint sticks, marshmallows, or chocolate shavings before serving.
Eggnog
We really like Horizon’s eggnog, and we grate fresh nut meg before serving.
Christmas Punch:
This is a pretty drink, and we usually have mini lights & fresh Garland to decorate around it.
1/3 cup white sugar
1 quart cranberry juice
2 cups unsweetened pineapple juice
3 tablespoons almond extract
1 (2 liter) bottle ginger ale
Mix all the ingredients except the ginger ale, and refrigerate for a day. Before serving mix in the ginger ale.

But sugar can only enter our cells with insulin, a hormone made in the pancreas. Insulin brings sugar into the fat cells and keeps it there. If we don’t eat between meals our insulin level goes down and fat cells release sugar stored so we can move around and be active.
When we fast our insulin levels go down far enough and for long enough that we burn off our fat.
